I just installed a set of Pioneer TS-A6872R speakers that I got in a junkyard for 20 bucks. Oh My God they sound amazing! Videos after the jump.
Here’s my old Ford “Premium” (lol) paper cone speakers that I replaced them with:
I had to buy a $5 adapter on amazon to wire them up correctly
This is seriously the best thing ever. Now all I have to do is replace the rear speakers and get a tape adapter that costs more that $4 and isnt from Walmart, lol.
The audio is so clear and it gets so freakin loud.
These are !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that I bought and installed for $25. Its the deal of the century

You should get a good damper for your door skins and back of the cab, and then maybe a mass loaded vinyl barrier to isolate more road noise and make those speakers really kick.
